CROSBY Research – Wasion Holdings (3393 HK/BUY): Securing State Grid’s first FY24 tender

Wasion announced the first bidding results of the 2024’s State Grid tender on smart metering equipment and data collection equipment yesterday. Wasion has won contracts for about 899k units of smart meters with a contract value of Rmb305.9m. Its subsidiary- Willfar Information Technology has also won contracts on data collection terminals and concentrators for 56k units with a contract value of Rmb106.1m. In total, the company has won contracts with an accumulated value of Rmb412.1m in State Grid’s first centralized bidding this year. It ranked leading position in terms of volume and total contract sum won in this tender.
