Crosby Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited was founded in May 1986 and is one of Asia's longest established independent asset management firms. It manages a range of asset classes, ranging from venture capital, private equity, stocks and bonds and other alternate investment classes, including a fund which invests into legal person shares in China. Crosby Active Opportunities Fund ("CAOF") was launched in December 2006 with subscriptions from two independent investors. CAOF focuses on Asian, Japanese and Australasian event-driven active investment strategies and intends to achieve absolute unleveraged returns in excess of 25% per annum by investing in undervalued companies and assets where pro-active financial or asset restructuring strategies help unlock and monetize unrealized intrinsic value.
