  • In June, Crosby Asset Management Inc. discontinues merchant banking activaties and becomes a focused, pure play asset management business.
 
  • In May, Crosby Capital Partners Inc. is renamed Crosby Asset Management Inc.

 

  • In March, Crosby Capital Partners Inc. announces a restructuring that will result in Crosby Capital Partners Inc. focusing on asset management.

 

  • In February, Crosby Capital Partners Inc. takes a 25% partnership interest in SW1 Capital LP

  • In September, Forsyth Partners became part of the Crosby Group. Forsyth is a UK-based global asset management business with over US$1 billion of assets under anagement, and a market leading fund research and ratings service.

 

  • In April, Indago Petroleum paid a special dividend that resulted in a cash payment to Crosby of $17 million.

 

  • Crosby completed the acquisition of Orchard Petroleum in April.

 

 

2006

  • In December Crosby Asset Management launched its first hedge fund, the Crosby Active Opportunities Fund ("CAOF").

 

  • Crosby launched the acquisitions of Marathon Resources and Orchard Petroleum, in July and October respectively.

 

 

2005

  • Crosby declared first special dividend to shareholders in September.

 

  • Crosby Wealth Management is launched in May.

 

  • Crosby obtained a stake in IB Daiwa through the exercise of warrants.
 
  • In July Crosby completed the acquisition of direct equity interests in Middle Eastern assets formerly owned by Novus Petroleum.

  • Crosby forms joint venture with Softbank Int'l/E2 serving Greater China known as SBI Crosby in August.

 

  • Crosby Capital Partners Inc. becomes quoted on AIM in May.

  • Techpacific acquires Crosby's investment banking and asset management businesses and brand name.

  • Crosby's stock broking business is sold to Societe General in Hong Kong.

  • Crosby expands into investment banking and asset management.

  • Crosby Asset Management is launched.

 

 

1984
